      If you attended YogaFort over the past few years odds are you took a class from Tony G. This exciting offering is part of the Sage Yoga School and the public always invited to attend. Yoga experience is recommended. 18.5 Continuing Education Credits for RYTs. Course Description:Join a community of teachers and yogis as we discover and gain deeper insights into the pathways of movement.Through optimal alignment, mindful sequencing and a healthy dose of fun, we will dive in and explore advanced asanas and bring them to life. We will put a microscope on all aspects of teaching, offering a more nuanced and subtle understanding of philosophy, biomechanics, anatomy and breathwork.We will ask our fellow Yogis/teachers to see ourselves as explorers and scientists in the great lab of self. It will be taught from a more experiential and experimental perspective rather than looking for absolutes.Each day will consist of Laboratories in which to experiment and explore. We will do insightful drills to create skills to see how new ideas/concepts take root in each of our bodies.Areas of Exploration:1. Anatomy & Kinesiology2. Breathwork Techniques3. Philosophy & Subtle Body4. Integrated Alignment Exercises5. Creative Sequencing & the Pinnacle Pose6. Journaling & Reflection7. Peer Discussion GroupsTony G’s devotion to the path of Yoga fills his classes with both knowledge and intensity while his big heart lends sweetness and compassion. He pulls inspiration from his diverse background in the music industry, as a visual artist, and from hisyears of study of Yoga and meditation. Teaching, studying and practicing yoga for the last 15+ years, it is his desire to weave asana, philosophy and music into his classes to take people on both an inner and outer journey. Tony’s love for alignment guides his classes and he wants the students to not only feel great after a class but also be able to access new poses. Tony is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 registered yoga teacher.In 2011 Tony was offered an amazing opportunity to become a co-owner of Yoga at the Raven, a beautiful sanctuary located in Silver Lake. The Raven is Tony’s platform to create, share and expand his hearts’ vision and to inspire others to do the same. Prior to that, Tony taught public classes at several studios in Los Angeles, including Exhale and Yoga Collective in Venice Beach, Mission Street Yoga in Pasadena and Still Yoga in Silver Lake. Tony is the creator of Yoga Elementals™ and founder of Meditate Study Practice (MSP)™ - a program designed to be accessible to students and teachers of all levels and life paths. Tony leads monthly workshops and 200 and 300-hour teacher trainings, in Los Angeles and abroad.
