      EVENT DETAILS
      2019 Idaho EPSCoR Annual Meeting

The Idaho NSF EPSCoR Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for participants and collaborators in Idaho’s National Science Foundation (NSF) EPSCoR Track-1 Research Infrastructure Improvement (RII) project to connect, communicate, and coordinate our research and education activities related to Idaho’s program on Genes to Environment: Modeling, Mechanisms, and Mapping (GEM3). The program is based on strong collaboration among Idaho’s public universities and participation of Idaho’s 2-year and 4-year colleges. Our work is intended to support lasting improvements in our state’s academic research infrastructure and education capacity in areas that support the state and university Science and Technology Strategic Plans. Registration for this meeting is free to participants and collaborators who are actively involved in the program. If you are unsure about participation in this meeting, please contact Rick Schumaker (rshumak@uidaho.edu). Please register ASAP, but no later than November 22 for this important event. 2019 Idaho NSF EPSCoR Annual Meeting “Collaboration, Integration, Convergence”  DRAFT AGENDA Sunday, December 1, 2019 – Travel Day Travel      (12:00 pm [tentative] departure - bus transportation provided from Moscow)6:30         Project Advisory Board (PAB) dinner (PAB only)                Informal time to Network (light food and beverages available) Monday, December 2, 2019 7:30         Registration and Breakfast (provided for hotel guests and local Boise participants)9:00         Concurrent Working Group Meetings Project Advisory Board meeting with GEM3 co-PIs  Trout – Linking Mechanisms to Modeling and Mapping Sagebrush - Linking Mechanisms to Modeling and Mapping WFD/Diversity – STEM Partnerships and PUI participation (Lab Module/VIP/Recruitment) 11:00       Networking11:30       Opening Remarks/Welcome, L.
